Thank you for your interest in our school, we can not wait to welcome you on one of our open evenings.  The admission’s process is now open and the deadlines for applying online to your local authority and for sending your supplementary information form to school is the 15th January 2027.

Reception Admissions for September 2027 become live on 1st September 2026

You will apply via thelocal authority website. You must also complete a supplementary faith form and return this and a copy of your child’s baptism certificate – these documents must be sent to school via email.

We will be holding three Open Evenings 4:30pm – 6:30pm. There is no need to book and all members of the family are welcome to attend.  See our website and Instagram for details.

If your child is not allocated a place at Christ the King you have the right to appeal the decision of the admissions authority. For Catholic schools the admission authority is the Governing Body.

For our school the appeal hearings are arranged by the Arcdiocesan Education Department.  If you would like to lodge an appeal please follow the link opposite.

In Year Transfer is the term used when children transfer from one school to another school during the academic year because:

  • you move house, either within or into Liverpool.
  • you want your child to change schools for other reasons.

They will liaise with the school you are hoping to transfer your child to.

If you are moving to Liverpool or you want to move your child to a Liverpool school from another local authority or independent (private) school, apply online below.
